Perfect for large breasts with a small frame. It's the only sleeping bra I have found that actually fits and supports well enough to wear all day. Michele from Easton, PA USA

I have worn and loved this bra for years. The leopard print however is a bit smaller than the rest of the color options due to not as much elasticity, so mine does not fit. unknown from Ohio

I have a very large bust and this bra actually fit! The support leaves a little something to be desiree but that's not new, especially for sports bras. This bra will be great for nursing around the house. Jamie from IL

was pleasantly surprised at this bra. i didn't think it would be very supportive, but it is. i wear a 42G. i'm still in my 3rd trimester but i imagine it will be equally comfy after my milk comes in. it is advertised as a sleep bra but i wear it during the day too. i plan to order a few more!! I kept this bra because I use it for sleeping in, but it really isn't supportive enough that I would wear it any wear. Elizabeth from MO

I had tried department stores and other web site's bra's but did not find a comfortable one until I tried the Bravado design 1013. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and it made a difference for back support. Mary from Covina, California, USA

The bra fits perfectly just wish it had more support around the nipple area when i start breastfeeding. Well I can't wait to really test it out when my baby boy gets here in August :-) briana from philadelphia,pa usa

It's okay at best as a maternity bra (which is what I purchased it for based on Bravado's website's recommendation). While I am on the lower end of the size chart for the bra I purchased, I found the band extremely tight to the point it leaves marks. It is also a very wide band, so it is mildly uncomfortable in my second trimester, I am not sure I will be able to wear it in my 3rd. Also, at an M++ size, I found it gave me uni-boob. Would care a lot less about the uniboob if the bra were amazingly comfortable (which it's not).

Bravado Response: It is very surprising to hear about the problems with the straps since this bra was designed to be worn without straps. The removable straps are only included as an additional support mechanism when this bra is not worn with a strapless dress. Either you tightened the straps too much resulting in the tearing of the elastic or you are wearing the wrong size bra. Elizabeth from Wisconsin

This bra is in a sport bra style. The elastic straps for the nursing flaps are very odd. Style is okay for lounging or sleeping. Jennifer from Indiana

Big bust, it does the job. Holds me up, comfortable for all-day. The only reason not 5 starts is the uni-boob thing, and after a while it looses support. But I will wear it out and buy another. This is my daily bra. Sandy from Forestville, CA, USA

These bras are my top choice and I recommend them to friends frequently. I bought three of them four years ago for my first child. I just bought another set for my second child. Even when we were done nursing I continued to wear them as sleep bras. I like that these bras are available in colors other than white. Both the fabric and the style are very comfortable. I like that I can wear these bras out Because of the sports bra-type design, you could end up with a uniboob situation depending on how you are built. However there is a built in separator that should keep your breasts on the right side for the most part. (If you're looking for something with more structure/support but without underwires, try the Bravado Supreme.) This bra will accommodate your size fluctuations, even through engorgement, with no problems. Beth from Athens, GA, USA

This bra received really good reviews and Bravado bras in general are highly rated so I thought this one would be great too. When I tried the bra on, I was very disappointed. I understand that it's just an around-the-house bra or sleep bra, but the construction could be so much better. Considering that it's made for girls with large breasts, there should be more material in the middle of the bra to separate the girls. Also, the diagonal seams that you can see on the cups of the bra end up running quite close to the nipple, which even during pregnancy is irritating (the stitching is very rough). Then on the top or inside portion of those seams, there is only one, THIN layer of fabric. No coverage whatsoever. The construction of this bra reminds me of training bras that aren't made for support. For me, this bra was a total miss....and a huge disappointment.

Bravado Response: Hi Suzanna, The Original Nursing bra is made from 92% cotton / 8% spandex blend fabric and is designed for comfort, sleeping and transition between pregnancy and nursing. It has been a best seller for eighteen years and is the bra that founded our company. During pregnancy and while nursing some women experience heightened nipple sensitivity which is why this bra is made from cotton. We are sorry that you were disappointed with The Original Nursing Bra. We hope you will enjoy another product from our collection. Suzanna from Columbia, SC

Supportive and comfortable, however, I wish I could find something for my large chest that doesn't squish my boobs together all the time! But that's more my problem than the bra's problem! Mickey from Maryland

This bra was not true to size...for me anyway. I am 38 weeks pregnant and measure a 38H. It really squished me and I am not even at my full size with milk yet. I know the size is only up to G but I thought I would give it a try.

HerRoom Response: This bra, unfortunately, is not made in your size. Shelly from Niles. OH USA

I love this The Original Nursing Bra - Double Plus Style from Bravado. It provides amazing support. It is soft breathable cotton. It is great under sport styles as the racer back blends in without appearing to be underwear. The stretch allows for fluctuations in size as nursing demands change and as I get some of my old shape back. It is a great everyday nursing bra. Mary from Toronto

This is an excellent nursing bra. Very supportive and well-constructed. It is made of a soft cotton that launders well and holds its shape. The straps are easy to fasten and unfasten. Unlike some other nursing bras for plus sized women, it holds the breasts in place with little or no stress on my upper back. My only complaint is that the shoulder straps could be thicker and made of a more comfortable fabric. Jennifer from Griswold, CT

The search can end, ladies, here it is!! The mythical and ever-elusive perfect nursing bra!! Here's my story... My daughter nursed for two years, and I searched that entire time for a decent nursing bra, to no avail. I tried dozens of styles and brands, from cheap to triple-digits in price, and found nothing that kept its fit and support for more than a few weeks. It was so frustrating! Then, when I was expecting my son, I went to a specialty bra shop for a fitting and a few recommendations, and discovered this bra. I am amazed!! I got this bra figuring the stretchy cups would get me through the last month of my pregnancy and then the early weeks of fluctuating cup sizes while my milk came in and got regulated. I figured by the time that was done, this bra would be worn out and end up in the trash like all the rest. Well, I was wrong!! This bra has seen me through all of that, and continued to perform like a champ, even though I have had it for almost ten months now. That's right, I said, ten months! I bought three different types of nursing bras when I got this one, and this is the only one that survived this long (the Bravado Supreme lasted over 7 months, which is also impressive). Despite being machine washed and dried almost daily, this bra has continued to fit just as well as it did when it was new, and it is just a comfortable and supportive. Even though I am not a big fan of the "uniboob" styling, I am convinced that this is the best nursing bra out there. I wish I had known about this one when my daughter was nursing! And for the price... well, this bra just can't be beat. When I wear a top that really requires something other than the "uniboob" look, I wear my Bravado Supreme. Otherwise, I just about live in this one. I wear it every night, and most days too. I would recommend this bra wholeheartedly and without hesitation to any woman with a full bust (I am a 38G). In fact, I already have recommended it to a friend, and she loves hers just as much as I love mine! Carrie from Delaware

This bra is super comfortable! The first time I wore it, I thought the seam under the arm was a little scratchy, but now it is totally soft. With my changing bra size, it is the most perfect solution. Betsy from Massachusetts
