Although slips may seem old-fashioned, there are some outfits that absolutely require them: dresses and gowns that are sheer or form fitting, especially. A modern innovation in full slip design is the bra slip. Bra slips have built in support, meaning there's no need to wear a bra under the slip. Some even have hidden underwires.
Full bra slips will cover the bodice and torso. They're available in varying lengths, from just above the ankle to high thigh. The longer bra slips are ideal under long, fitted gowns, creating a smooth line from top to bottom. Shorter bra slips work under knit, sheer or fitted dresses. Some bra slips have the added bonus of slenderizing and smoothing bumps and bulges. |
