I wanted something that would help camoflage that left-over muffin top after my weight loss--not necessarily to hold it in but to hold it still. I ordered Large on purpose so they would not be so tight they would be uncomfortable. For this purpose, they worked like a champ; however, they would be even better if they did not have such a firm control. I wish I could find a high-waisted brief with just a light control. I love my bali's, but it's true about the top band curling up and creating a bulge. I'm thinking maybe I ordered a size too big??? Maybe try a smaller size and see if it stays up! Otherwise it is comfortable with SOME support...comfortable though, so guess you don't get real strong support with comfort too. The waist part of this brief is fabulous, hides my rolls all the way around. But the back legs ride up over my behind and I feel like I have a perpetual weggie. But I can sacrifice comfort in the booty, if my waist is squeezed tight. I wish Bali would do something about the riding up. Fanniless
