I finally found a place to buy Bali bras! I just ordered four and as usual they are great! I do not understand why these people are complaining about the plastic fittings,I have two bras I have had for a lot of years, yes years, and have never had one to break, yet. The bras are old and worn, but still oh so comfortable, I do not want to throw them away. All these years I have washed them in warm water in the washer, dried them in the dryer and no problems! Thanks, Bali!! The service I got from "Her Room" was great too! I ordered the wrong size at first, and they made the exchange, no problem, emailed me to let me know they were taking care of it! nothing great, really does not hold up well, straps twist and stretch after awhile, not well made.

I have really loved the style and sizing of this bra for 4 years now. However, the last batch I bought didn't seem to last as long as the others did. I don't put them in the dryer, and I buy three at a time so that they are all rotated. Just wanted you to know...

HerRoom Response: Thank you for your observation. We have forwarded your comment on to Bali. In the meantime, please not that you should not wash your bras in a washing machine in hot water either. This also breaks down the elastic.

I have worn this bra for at least 15 years and now Bali discontinues my size. . .WHY!!!! larger women still need bras. Do you really want us walking around without a bra. . .I don't think so. What are we suppose to do??????

HerRoom Response: Unfortunately, many manufacturers look at the sale of a certain style and will trim off the sizes that did not sell as well. I'm afraid this happened here.

A great fitting bra, but those clear plastic sliders are cheap junk. Those thin little things snap like a twig. I don't even put my bras though the dryer, I hang them to dry, so it's not heat damage. Four times a slider has broken when I was putting the bra on, so how do they figure it's because my bra is too small? I ordered one size larger by mistake recently and it was too big. For anyone who's slider has broken just on one side, you can glue it with superglue and it'll last you a while longer. I Must Be Nuts from Littleton CO

The bali maufacturers suggestion that one is wearing a size to small and that is what is causing the ring to break is just ridiculous. I bought my old faithful bali bra from the bali outlet and was sized by the clerk. I wear exactly what I am suppose to wear and have worn for years. The plastic sliders break and leave ya hanging. They never broke before. I have some older bras that have plastic but a much better quality. I won't be buying bali any longer. This is one bra that fits perfects for me. The cup is huge enough to hold the breast. But the back side looks more like old women as it has 4 hooks. If it has 3 hooks with a maximum of 2 inch strap. It would be great.

The quality has really deteriorated on the bras with plastic fittings. I had the same experience as one of the other reviewers - I bought four bras about two months ago and the strap rings on all of them have broken! This does NOT have to do with wearing a too-small bra size and everything to do with crappy materials on the part of Bali. My guess is this new plastic is too brittle and does not hold up well under even the gentle cycle heat during laundry. Also the problem seems to be in the light colored bras (pink and blue) they've released in the last couple of years. I noticed their basic white and black bras have sturdier plastic rings. I love this bra with one exception. It produces red whelps under my breasts because of my being allergic to elastic. Is there one that has covered elastic with similar fit?

The plastic bra findings are absolutely awful if you are active at all. They break when you look cross-eyed at them and the slider adjustments can't be easily repaired. I wish they would go back to the metal findings, which actually worked for the reasonable life of the bra. I just bought three of them a month ago and they're all broken, either at the brittle little plastic ring that links the shoulder strap to the cup or at the equally-brittle cheap plastic slider.

HerRoom response: This is Bali's number one selling bra. It has had plastic rings for the last 3 years. The metal was changed to plastic so that the bra would be totally metal free. Bali's response to us was to suggest the wearer go up a bra size. Wearing a bra that is too small can cause the rings to break.
