I love Bali's minimizers because they provide full coverage and support. I wonder if I will find a bra at HerRoom that have "gel-cushioned straps"

HerRoom Response: At this time, we don't have a minimizer with gel straps. The Shockabsorber B5021 has gel cushioned fastening as well as cushioned straps, but this is a sports bra. Plumie from Largo, MD

Unfortunately, I was dissapointed with my purchase. The bra seemed to fit ok when I tried it on, but once I wore it for a few hours there was a gap between my breast bone & the bra & you could see the top of the wires through my top. Tanya from North Olmsted

As a bra, this is a very good product. It seemed to be well made and would have been very comfortable IF it had fit well. I am searching for a fit, but this one is too big around, but the cup size seemed like a good fit. I think there is a problem with me and the way I am made. I cannot find a bra that fits my body build. I am narrow across the shoulders but with rather large breasts. I still have very good muscle structure, but I cannot find the right bra design. The straps are too wide apart and the underwire is made too wide. It is painful underneath my arms. It is the first bra that seems to let the underwire sit on my body to support the breasts, but the size is too loose around. So, is the cup size correct? If anyone can point me to a design that might fit, I would be very open to trying it.

HerRoom Response: All your symptoms point to your band size being too large. MLee from Brandon, MS, USA

I love this bra! Being of a "round" shape and rather large, this bra fits me the best. I love the minimizing aspect...very comfortable. Stacy from Denver

The straps of this bra are very comfortable. It is a true minimizer and does not push out at the sides. The fabric itself is very smooth and feels great. Submitted from TheUndies.com

I am just beginning my quest to find a bra that actually fits properly. Like most petite but large-chested women, I've been wearing the wrong bra size for years (An ill-fitting regular bra plus a sports bra over it all through high school...ick!). So this is the first bra I bought online, hoping to find the right size. I think I might be a 32 in other bras, but the adjustable hooks in the back have a pretty wide range which makes it not ride up at all, when every other 3 band I've had has ridden up horribly. At first I thought I'd have to return the bra because my breasts looked too "pointy," but a friend pointed out that I just wasn't used to having myself not "squished down" with multiple bras and sports tops. Ultimately, I am very happy with this bra. The DDD cup fits perfectly, this is the first time I've had a bra where I don't spill out the top. As for the minimizing, I feel like I look bigger than I usually do, but again, I've only worn high-impact sports bras. I'm really happy with this bra, and I feel like I look lovely for the first time in my life. I'm still trying to figure out bra sizing though, and wondering if I order a 32 in another brand, do I need to get a cup size up? Thanks, HerRoom!

HerRoom Response: You are absolutely right. If you go down a band size, you need to go up a cup size to maintain the same cup volume. Erica from Florida

Bra was not a good fit. Center of bra pushed out when sitting; found it uncomfortable. According to recommendations on fitting properly I would be going to a DDD. But the other bra at 48DD fit perfectly. Sadly, I find that this basic Bali style is no longer a fit at this size. Returning item. L.C. Henion from Honolulu, Hawaii

I love this bra! I bought it because I have recently lost over 50 pounds and I needed new bras. A Sales Clerk gave me many to try on and I settled on 4. This bra was one of them. It has become my most favorite bra ever. After two kids, and 50 pounds, "the girls" just aren't where they are supposed to be anymore. This bra not only puts them back where they are supposed to be, it also has exceptional support. I run and exercise in this bra as it has far better support then a sports bra or anything like them. The only drawback is that I am not able to wear a lower cut shirt as the wires go high on my chest. But I work around that considering all of the other benefits of this GREAT bra!!! This is an update to my earlier rating and comments. After having this bra awhile, I like it more than I did in the beginning. Maybe it needs to be washed a few times and "worn in." Anyway, I now find it to be quite comfortable. I really like the padded shoulder straps. The seams across the breast don't seem to show as much as they did in the beginning, and the material on the sides no longer cuts into me as it did in the beginning. SLS from Easthampton/MA/USA

This is my favorite bra. I have worn this style for a few years and it is the only bra that doesn't make my back hurt towards the end of the day. I would recommend it for anyone who feels that they are forced to slump over because of their breast size and it really minimizes the look of your breasts if that is what you desire. I liked the bra. The style was new for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. It does minimize my bust and it is very comfortable. I seem to be hard to fit so I was pleased. Marilyn B. from Decatur, Il, USA

Actually, I liked the Bra very much and It does measure up as a minimizer. It runs small, though, I had to return it for a larger size. All my other bras are 36D or 36DD and fit nicely. Marilyn from Decatur, Il, USA

Overall fairly happy with this bra. I wish the material was a little bit softer, but extremely happy to actually find a pretty comfortable bra with full coverage to fit my size! I do love the soft and comfortable straps which is very important if you feel you need to wear a minimizer bra. Do wish the back straps did not have to be quite that large - 3 hooks would be plenty. Thanks for actually carrying a bra in my size! Mom from Visalia, CA
