I ordered this bra for my 75 yr old mother in law who is very picky about her bras. She had only every worn special order May Marie bras. She hates underwires. She sleeps in her bras and I needed to find one that was comfortable 24/7. As soon as we put this bra on she was like a new person. She didn't have "boobage" sticking out all over the place and they were lifted up off her rib cage and she looked like a new woman! The bra got here so fast too. This is my favorite bra for every day wear - enough support, and very soft and comfortable. I LOVE that they have printed the "label" on the back of the bra, so there is no nasty tag sewn on there. After a mastectomy on one side and lift/reduction on the other, I'm in search of a new bra. The Bali cups, while the right size, weren't the right shape. For the short waisted person, it is quite easy to remove the stays, just undo the stitching slightly and remove. This works great and it still has good support. Julie from Portland OR

Because I am short waisted, I am having a bit of discomfort with the stays that are meant to provide side support. They buckle and then pinch the skin. I need to find a bra that provides this support but does not ride up. The bra band size is right. It is just the short wait issue that causes the problem.

HerRoom Response: You state that you are also petite in stature. Bras with stays will probably always give you a hard time. We have an area on our site where we identify bras for full figure petite women called petite plus size.

Bali Response: While Bali does not market a bra for short waist individuals we do offer a Bali style called “Live It Up” and it is style #3353. The “Live It Up” style will not have the stays in the band put panels on the side of the cup for support. You may try this bra as it is available in your size. Suzanne from Minerva Ohio USA

I have had a radical masectomy and bought about 15 so-called masectomy bras. They all hurt or didn't fit properly. I found an old Bali bra similar to this one in my regular bra drawer and found that it better fitted where my tissue was missing. When I bought this style, I found that with my prosthesis (I cut a seam in the cup between the two layers), it fit perfectly with no overflow and no bra discomfort whatever. I wear this as my everyday bra. It manages to be stretchy all over for comfort yet provide enough support to keep me from bouncy around during housework, gardening, and light exercise. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the tagless, cushioned back close is refreshingly irritation-free. I'm surprised that the simple elastic straps are comfortable and don't dig in! I usually wear cushioned rigid straps, but don't think I'll go back to them - these are fully adjustable, which is a plus for cinching up the cups once the fabric ages and stretches out, and these thinner straps don't show under clothes. The cups give nice lift and separation. All in all, a great everyday bra! Angie from Ringgold, GA
