I expected these to be too small because they are a stretchy microfiber and look itty bitty before you wear them. Once on...they are snug, but not tight, don't ride up or down, don't cut into my (vanishing) waistline, and feel great even after wearing all day. I love these panties but the Large size ordered on-line was larger than the Large size I purchased in a brick and mortar store. I had already removed all of the tags and laundered the items before trying them on, so they are not exchangeable. My bad. I don't know why the sizes would be different. A little frustrating.
