Aviana Lace Underwire Bra 2452 Reviews

I've worn this style for a few years. However, this is the second time I've had an issue with the fit of white vs. black. Black fits fine. White is not correct. The last time it happened, I thought it was a one time mistake. Since it happened again, there must be something wrong with manufacturing. White 2452 has a different fit from black 2452. White is too loose. Very disappointing.

Aviana Response: While there is some variation in fit between Black and Candlelight (the 2452 is not made in White), it should be barely noticeable and after two wash cycles, nonexistent. Fabric soaked by dye (especially black dye) shrinks temporarily, and in relation to the fabric's fiber content. A lacy fabric absorbs less dye per square inch, while a solid fabric absorbs more. This shrinkage is temporary and we accomodate it in our sewing specifications. After the garment has been washed, usually twice, the fabric returns to it's normal size and shape. For this reason, we always recommend fitting bras in light colors, and buying the same size in black. The black bra will be tight until washed, usually twice. This customer may have bought bras one size too large. I believe that after a few washings she will find the black bra a bit loose.

I absolutely love the bra and the support it gives, however the straps are just too short for adjustment and dig in to shoulders and the bottom underwire seems to curl up making it a bit uncomfortable.

Aviana Response: We very, very rarely hear that our straps are too SHORT – normally our customers say they need shorter straps! Since you love the bra, spend $5 with a seamstress and have them lengthened. I realize you’ve already made a big investment, but won’t it be nice to have the perfect cup and band coupled with the longer straps you want?

I like the bra alot just one complaint...the bra outlast the wire......I have purchased about 15 of these bras since 2001 and the under wire seems to come out before the bra is wore out. I also wish the bra came in 36H.

HerRoom Response: When a wire comes out of a bra, the reason many times is that the underwire casing has shrunk due to washing your bra in hot or warm water, and putting it in the dryer.

Oh my! Who would have thought I could have perky breast with an "H" cup. This bra does exactly that with amazing support! I received my bra today and I've never been more pleased (which says a lot since I have every single bra out there.) I'm just sad that it took me so many years to finally discover Avianna. I wish I would have known much much earlier. For fitting T-shirts you might want to try the soft cup version (I know I am) the lace version has stitching across the middle that's visible under t-shirts. Ms. Crawford from Wheeling, IL

I just love this bra! The fit is indescribable! I dont even feel it when I have it on. I wear a size 40G and it makes my bustline look fabulous. It somehow enhances their projection and size....I have gotten numerous amounts of comments on the improvement of my sillouette from my co-workers. Thank you sooooo much Aviana!!
