Having had breast surgery recently, this bra came in handy. It fit well and did not hinder my incision. However, the banding caused me to break out in a rash just beneath my breast making it uncomfortable in that area. I do not understand why this would happen. Rose from United States

I purchased this bra 3 weeks after breast reduction surgery. It moderately irritated my sutures at that time. However, now I am six weeks out and it is quite comfortable. I still have some healing to go, but the wide band and soft cotton do not irritate. It looks great under my shirts and provides good support with additional padding the sides of the cups. I recently had breast reduction surgery, this bra was the most comfortable bra for the incision and swelling areas, the support changes with the breast as the swelling changes/reduces. I tried a sport bra but the support was not there and the band rode up on my the incisions. I will wear this even after the recovery when I want to just be comfortable. After my augmentation I ended up somewhere between a 32D and 32DD. I ordered both sizes, planning to send one back. However, I ended up keeping both b/c each bra has a different purpose: the smaller one, to push the new implants together, and the larger one, to let them "breathe". This bra is extremely easy to use after surgery, and is very comfortable--even more comfortable than a nursing bra. The straps are easy to adjust, with adjusters on the front (slide-style adjuster). You will not need to raise your arms or maneuver much to fasten this bra. It has proved to be very supportive as I've returned back to work and have gradually been allowed more and more child duties (my kids are 3 yrs and 10 mos). You will not be disappointed spending the extra money for this high-quality bra. Also, I have not had to use HerRoom customer service, but returns look incredibly easy. B.D. from Louisiana, USA

I spent a small fortune on trying to find the right support bra after I had breast implants removed. I tried the Annette 10579 and loved it. Consequently, I ordered two more because the Annette bras are the most comfortable, supportive after surgery bra I found. My surgeon was so impressed with my bras she is now recommending them to other patients. Moreover, if you do not have a need for an after surgery bra, these bras are great sports bras as well. Great fit and easy to put on after surgery. Finding a bra in a 32D is no small task. I just had a breast lift with minimal augmentation and this bra is perfect. My breast augmentation took me from a 32A to 32C. I asked for a full B, small C and this bra fit me perfectly. I was worried immediately after surgery that it didn't hold me tight enough. However, it's been seven days and now this is the most comfortable bra and support is amazingly deceiving! It's pretty and comfortable. Highly recommended. Cyndi from Jersey City, NJ

This is such a comfy post surgical bra...I only wish I found it sooner! It has great support and doesn't have the sports bra look. The material is soft and the band doesn't bind. I bought one white, I'm going to buy a black, but I'd love to get a bunch more! Janine from California
