I bought 3 of them to change in summer. They are the most comfortable to wear and also have the subtle understated look I like. Marilyn from Beaufort, NC USA

The "older" design of this bra was much better. I bought this same style 1 year ago and it was one of my favorites. The "new" design is unflattering and awful...breasts look like cones : (

Anita Response: Thank you for your feedback. There have been no design changes for style #5523. The female body constantly changes and molds so bras like #5523 are able to adjust a little bit to body changes like your favorite jeans do. Amy from Atlanta

I purchased the bra for my Mom, it had too many snaps for her to manage. Returned the bra. Terry from Jamul, CA USA

Very high quality, super comfortable and supportive. Unfortunately, it was on backorder so long that I found a substitute to suit my situation better. I really needed a mastectomy bra that has a pocket for my prothesis. Jackie from Pacific Northwest

This sports bra deserves the high ratings everyone else gave it. Easy to put on and crazy easy to adjust the straps once it's on. Easy to take off when you are dripping with sweat post work out. The best I've tried at keeping everything in place while still being comfy. I don't feel like my implants are being squished against my chest wall. I am ordering 2 more since I work out every day. I trail run at least 5 miles almost every day. Cathy from Raleigh, NC

The band on most bras is uncomfortable for me. A wide chest band in a large size around -- is more comfortable. But I have small breasts. The virtues of this bra is that it offers a combination that accommodates these needs. You can order large around chest and wide band and small cups. For more comfort yet, you can also unhook the bottom hooks and not lose any of the support and flattering line that the bra offers. I haven't found another bra to match the comfort and flattering fit of this Anita. D from Asheville NC USA

It was a little challenging hooking all the hooks in front because I have arthritis, but, once on, it was so comfortable. I'm used to wearing underwire bras and wondered if I would get the same support . . . well, this is even better support! Gail from Novato, CA

I just had a breast lift 1 week ago and just received this bra today. It has met all my expectations! The adjustable straps are a great feature and the front close is a must have. The compression is perfect! I would highly recommend this bra is you have had a breast lift!!! Will be ordering another one today! Annette from Alaska

I love this bra! I have fibromyalgia and my muscles are very tender. I am also tall and straps are often too short for me -- even this one when my shoulders are really sore, but because of the velco straps, I was able to extend them by using an additional piece of velcro -- easy, no sewing, and perfectly 'customizable'. Also, properly fitting bra bands often feel too tight to me and increase my pain even after a short time, but because I am an E cup (with a small ribcage) I need to wear a bra in public. With this one I can unhook the bottom hooks when it gets uncomfortable and it still holds me in place -- amazing. Also, the way it's designed, it holds your breasts apart -- no 'uniboob' :) (a little manual positioning when putting it on helps to make it fit right). I am so grateful to the makers of this bra, and to Herroom for carrying it. Please keep doing so! (btw, for those complaining of the velcro not always holding, you could add a piece that would secure it. I just leave it connected when taking it off.) Chris from VA

LOVE this bra. I actually use this as a night-time bra. I prefer front close night bras (got to keep the love life in mind!), but I am never without a bra (the reason the girls have stayed so perky all these years), and this is sooo comfortable. The one oddity is the hooks work differently than the Enell bra (the hooks are on the opposite side), which takes a time or two to get used to - but, the second I tried it on, I immediately ordered a second. I hope they carry this forever - although I plan on ordering more soon, just in case they don't. gracie from cedar hill

This is my all-time favorite bra. It is extremely comfortable for everyday wear, and easy to put on even with two arthritic shoulders. Sadly, due to weight loss, I now need a 34F, which is not available in this particular bra. Dear Anita, please PLEASE consider extending your size range for this style. The back-close version is not as comfortable supportive for someone with a large bust -- that full-back panel really helps. For now, I have ordered another 36E, and I'm going to try to get the band altered to fit me. Heidi from Baltimore, MD USA

I purchased this garment for everyday wear after my breast reduction surgery. I have been very pleased with the comfort and the velor straps are a great help for removing the bra as pain free as possible. I am glad i opted for one size larger than my target cup size to allow for the swelling to go down. Be sure you buy at least one size lager for the weeks after surgery and your target size for after the swelling goes down. Marimar

I had looked everywhere for sports bras in a 40DD with no luck, and the one I did find shrunk when washed. I went on line to HerRoom and found what looked to be a great bra, but figured I could return it and felt sure that would be the case. Boy was I wrong. I would recommend this bra to larger chested women. I purchased one in white and one in black. The comfort and ease of the front closure make it a 5 star in my opinion. Not only was the merchandise excellent but so was the service and how quickly and professionally they arrived, along with follow-up emails. Thank you for quality merchandise; I am a customer for life! Extremely Happy in Houston. Sue from Houston

I purchased the bras based on my surgeons recommendation of what would work best - I am having a breast reduction surgery and right now the bras do not fit - but after the surgery I will post another review - the fact that they are "compression" bras, wireless and front closures is the reason I purchased them. Also, there were reviews from previous surgery patients who chose them - that was a help. Nancy from Shelty Twp., Michigan, USA

A bit disappointed as the straps (velcro) sometimes don't stay closed. I was walking into the grocery store when my strap opened and a breast dropped. Not a good feeling. I fear that will happen in my Pilates or Yoga class. The bra is comfortable with the nice wide back but the straps could be an issue. Janet from Fredericksburg,VA

I love this bra! I play volleyball and softball, and always feel supported. I have one in black and white, and sometimes wear it to work as it helps support my back also. The hooks in front are easy to use, and stay closed. Denise S. from CA

Breast Cancer. Needed a front closer bra to be dressed in following surgery. The first voice I heard, was nurse on my left dressing my incision saying "nice bra" then the nurse helping on the right tapped my shoulder saying "this is really nice bra"...all I could do is smile...they were so right! It works because I can only use a front closing bra that is also a sports bra. Easy to put on and off and the support is adequate for everyday where. KRC from N. Bethesda, MD

Love this front close bra that has shoulder adjustments. My only *itch is that as a big girl (200lbs+) I can never find a sports bra that doesn't roll at the band. I thought I had it with this one but after a few washes (handwash, cold, hung dry) the roll is there after about an hour of wear. Still comfortable though, even on the hottest of days(100's). For me this is a light duty bra for golf. Amanda from NY

I have worn this bra in size 36E as an every-day bra for a long time. Recently I lost some weight, but stayed the same cup size (just saggier, sigh). I decided to order a new bra in 34F, only to discover to my dismay that the bra only goes up to 34E. I ordered a 34E to see if I could get away with it, but it wasn't large enough to contain my breasts. So sad. This was far and away my favorite bra -- comfortable, easy to put on and adjust, didn't give me uni-boob. Definitely a 5-star bra. Heidi from Baltimore, MD

Very comfortable fit! Not the most attractive bra or breast shaper but great support for my upper back and good adjustment for my right shoulder, which has a torn rotater cuff. Will buy again . June from Colonial Heights,Va,US

Purchasing this item was easy and it arrived fairly quickly. However, the bra is too constricting and is not appropriate for breast reconstruction as some may have stated in their reviews. I tried it on for all of ten minutes before I had to take it off. I also didn't realize how hard it would be to find a front close (with hooks) sports bra in a 34C that also had supportive cups and didn't give the "uni-boob" effect. I will still order from HerRoom when I can wear regular bras again because they do have a great selection and ship quickly. JH from Quincy, MA

I just had a lumpectomy. This bra has been perfect for my post surgery. It is quite comfortable and the front closure is what I really needed. It gives great support and the adjustable velcro tabs are a real plus. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs a sports bra post breast surgery. Maureen from Roselle, New Jersey, USA

This is THE most comfortable I've been in a bra in a long, long time. I was apprehensive about a front closure but as it turns out I like it better because my back was always irritated by the closure area. Great bra, not enough support for jogging though. Kathy from Carson City NV

I would have loved the opportunity to wear this bra, it looks extremely comfortable, but unfortunately there is no 'give' in the size. It either fits or it doesn't. The hooks were equally difficult to undo. It is a shame. D from New Hampshire
