I have searched for years for a padded sports bra which would not ride up on small breasted women. The description and picture of this bra seemed like it would finally be the one. It arrived with thin fabric, no lining constructed just like bras half the price.

Anita Response: Style 5521 is not a padded bra. The description on the website indicates a "flat preformed cup" and "free of padding", but probably the customer misunderstood molded which doesn't mean padded but preformed. Polly from HPN

This bra is super comfy and it actually feels like it is giving me support at the same time. Having very large and full breasts, it has been a nightmare for me over the years trying to find a bra that first of all fits, and secondly, actually holds me up somewhat well. I have ordered so many different bras over the years, and so far for me, Anita sports bras seem to be the best for what I am looking for. I have tried unsuccessfully to wear wire bras, but they are more like torture devices, and finding a wire free bra that actually supports me is a huge feat. I am planning on ordering a few more of this particular style because it is the best and most comfortable so far. Mizmo from Pacific Grove, Ca

This is a comfortable bra. I don't find it as supportive or easy to put on as its front-closing sibling, the 5523, but the 5523 isn't made in my current band/cup size combo. Heidi from Baltimore, MD USA

This bra is extremely thin but still offers great control with average sized breasts. It dries quickly. It is not as bulky or as high on the shoulders as many sports bras. Also comes in a racer back style. Submitted from TheUndies.com

LOVE love this sports bra! Better than i ever thought it would be! I do not like to wear underwire while working out-- if i dont have to! I have worn Natori, DKNY, VS, and a few others. some feel like a straight jacket. This fits super tight and smooth and keeps me completely in place and best of all, super comfy. I like Anita bras anyways, so i am not surprised that they make a great sports bra too. Karen from Chicago IL

Love the comfort of this bra! I have a small ribcage and large breasts that are heavy and need LIFTING - this bra does that. The wide straps are very comfortable. I wear this bra for yoga and walking, but wear a firmer sport bra for running and Jazzercise. Not a lot of separation, but hugs you enough with good distribution. I wear this bra all day - so comfortable! Sharon from MI

Love, love, love this bra. I play tennis in this bra, go to Jazzercise without any problem (great support, look and fee), it is also comfortable enough to wear everyday, which I do. I now have 4 of these bras and I wouldn't purchase anything else. Hope they never discontinue this bra. Erica from Pinckney/MI/USA

Great Bra, wear this to Jazzercise and tennis, it shapes you and provides great support. It is also very comfortable. I've ordered two more and will have a total of four. It was just what I have been looking for - a comfortable, supportive bra great for exercise and any time. Ms. G from Pinckney, MI, USA

This bra is very comfortable and lightweight. I have not done strenuous exercise, only walking, in it. It gives the breasts a rounded (not pointed) shape. I wish it were offered in 30 band size, as that is my true size. Beth from South Carolina, USA

It's thinner than I expected so it's not the best support for me in terms of doing sports but good for everyday wear. Like the wider band. Would have to be careful when wearing a thin top. I really like it. It's comfortable and I have worn it all day. MK from Los Angeles

Fantastic travel bra. My two Anitas were the only bras I packed for 12 days in Europe. They were comfortable during long days of sightseeing and compact in my luggage. Best of all, they were easy to wash in my hotel sink and dried in just a few hours. I won't be leaving home without them. Jan from Cleveland, OH

I don't 'rate' bras often, but thought I'd share my thoughts on this one. Sizing was perfect (but I had tried on this bra in a store locally, and then found it at HerRoom at a MUCH better price)! it's so comfortable that I had to stop and think if I was actually wearing it right now as I went to begin the review....offers great support (haven't tried anything too strenuous yet)...but done some fast walking and playing/running with my young children. looks just fine under basic tees for running errands and such (but I'm no "have to look AMAZING when I'm just running around town every reg. day), but i don't expect a comfortable sports bra to lift, seperate, etc. like a regular bra does....no digging on shoulder straps, no rolling on band, very comfortable material, no itching, all around I'd definitely buy again. (My guess is that it's not enough support for things like horseback riding, running marathons, etc....but i wasn't looking for that). Very happy with this bra! Shelley from BC, Cda

I do a lot of perennial gardening and need a light weight comfortable bra that would dry out quickly and not chafe. I love this bra, although I wish I had gotten a 42C, guess I am bigger than I thought! Denise from Alabama

Not what I expected in a sports bra. It's very comfortable BUT if you don't want to be flopping around during your sports activity this NOT the bra to use. On the other hand it gives a smooth profile. Bonnie from New Mexico

Love this bra, it is so comfortable. After buying many bras that were so uncomfortable, I find this sports bra to be the most comfortable with great support. Having had breast cancer with radiation treatments, bras can be painful but this bra has no wire to dig in and breasts look natural. I would highly recommend this bra for all day use. This is my absolute favorite sports bra! I was surprised that it was listed as a medium-impact bra, because I wear it running and for other super-high impact activities (like boot camp, where you do lots of jumping jacks) and it's wonderful. Maybe it depends on your bust size and larger sizes truly can't wear it for those activities. Anyway, I love it because there is no wire, it's lightweight and comfortable, and comes in a great nude color so I can wear it under lighter fabrics with no show-through. I work out five days a week and wear this bra for most workout activites, including running, weight training and yoga. I like that it doesn't create a back bulge, so I can wear it under yoga tanks and still have a smooth look. My only complaint is that it is quite compressive, so I probably lose a couple of inches on my bust size when I wear it. That doesn't matter for running, but not so attractive for yoga class. It also comes up quite high on the chest in the front, and may show over the top of lower-cute workout tops. But for the support and light weight, I still love it! Pam from Georgia
