I was really excited to order this bra after reading most of the reviews. It fits great in the length and doesn't roll under my breasts but it cut me terribly under the arms. I ordered it because the reviews said the straps were long, but I think if they were a little longer the bra might have fit. A few people said the cup ran big so I ordered a size smaller and it fit perfectly. I wish I didn't have to return it but it hurts my underarms too much. JUDY from Philadelphia

Very pretty for a support bra, but this is only for LONG torsos. There is no way to shorten it. I am almost 5"4", but the bottom of this bra was half way to my waist. Completely unworkable.

Anita Response: We apologize that you were not able to shorten the straps enough. Since we are a worldwide brand, the longer straps are needed in certain markets. This is the best bra that I have found that hold up heavy hanging 69 year old breasts and without any wires. This bra is worth the high price. It is about as comfortable as a bra can get. Joan from Tillamook, OR

As a 235-pound small-chested person, I have a Really hard time finding bras that fit. This bra does not have padding so it was really trial and error whether I could fill it properly. By ordering a size smaller (44 instead of 46) and adding an extender, the size A cup fits perfectly with no extra padding!!! And the shoulder straps are Wonderful! I love it. Looks great, too. Liked the bra and the quality of workmanship however, disappointed because it's POINTY. Pointy bras went out in the 1950's & 60's.

Anita Response: This isn't easy to comment without seeing the consumer. I would assume that the consumer didn't like the fitting of the tree-section cup or that the sizing wasn't correct. I am very disappointed in this bra. Prior to purchasing, I read the reviews and it sounded great, so I bought it. The cup was too large initially, so I returned it and got a smaller size. The cup size now is a good fit and the shoulder straps are comfortable, but I am disappointed in everything else. It doesn't give any lift or support and the back is constantly sliding up giving it a very uncomfortable feeling.

Anita Response: The consumer describes, that the back is sliding up, which is an indication, that the chosen band size is too loose, so the bra can't give the expected support. It didn't fit me. It seemed to push the breasts out under my arms and I still bulged out over the top. I am having a hard time finding a bra that fits me right.

I've worn this brassiere for years and simply can't find one that's more comfortable, though I've tried. In fact, I've tried so many different brands and styles, my head starts spinning at the thought. I just received this bra and I am very disappointed. I think this bra is no better than a bra you can find at Walmart. There is no support at all. I bought another Anita bra (underwire style 5490)in the same size and it fit, but this bra seems to fit big. I haven't decided if I will keep the other Anita style 5490, but it seems ok.
