Ordered 3 of the Marlena 2167 in 2 different orders. The first bra was made in Mexico and the fit was like the one I bought at a retail shop. The second order was for 2 bras and they were made in Costa Rica and seem to be a little smaller (tighter). Lena

Initially I felt this bra OK but on wearing it several days I found that the straps adjust at the top of my shoulders & become quite painful. Plus it gives the "uni-boob" effect. Because I wore it 2 days I will discard it-waste of money.

I wish it fit, but the cup is shaped wrong for my prostheses. (I was surprised because other Amoena bras have been fine). I ended up returning it.

All Bras I have ordered have too short of straps and they dont adjust out longer

Amoena Response:The straps for our bras are manufactured for an average torso length. All torsos are different even though height might be comparable so you could take 10 women that are 5’9 and all will have a different torso length. Some bras have the adjustability only in the back part of the strap and the front and shoulder are padded for comfort. Others have the adjustability for the entire length of the strap. The 2167 is one that has a little more padding on the front and shoulder for comfort and the adjustability is in the back part of the strap. Margo from Victorville Ca. 92395

I needed extenders to not have it too tight. But when I needed comfort in the shoulders (even though I have a size A cup) 38 is probably as big as they make with an A cup. Karla

I was having a hard time finding a bra in my size, 32D, as well as needing that size in a wirefree bra as I just had breast augmentation surgery a couple of months ago. I went everywhere and could not find a single one and kept having people on stores try to tell me I was actually 34D so against my better judgement and the size a plastic surgeon measured me at I conceded and bought a few bras at the size only to have a checkup with my surgeon who verified they were too big and I basically was just talked into buying bras that did not fit. So after being a little skeptical about buying bras online I decided that it couldn't possibly be any worse to just try that approach. I did a quick google search on my size and went thru a few sites but ultimately ended up being drawn to this one because of the selection they offered in my size, underwire and wirefree alike. After spending way too much money on my previous bra shopping endeavor I just decided to go with something more conservatively priced to see if I was just setting myself to get ripped off again. After I ordered my bra I received it very quickly. Nice packaging. Opened it up and tried it on. And wow. Wow. It fit. So well. Its is supportive and comfortable and all the things I didn't expect from a bra that wasn't in the almost 100 dollar range. Just a really nice bra. I mainly just wanted to try one to see what the sizing was going to be like but I am going to have to say I may have just found the bra I am going to stick with until I can wear underwire again. And probably even still then after because it is quite comfortable and looks great under tshirts and tanks especially. My surgeon was even happy with it. She was being so picky. Understandably. So this is a bra that made everyone happy. So if you are a newly 32D do not let people try to tell you otherwise and just go ahead and order this bra. You will not regret it! Don't like this one at all. I found that I ended up with the "uni-boob" effect (i.e., no separation). Not very supportive.

According to measurements, 38A was supposed to be my size, but was too tight around. 40A is very comfortable and I am pleased that the straps do not slip. Best fitting bra I have found in many years. (Actually, it was my daughter who discovered it and passed the info on to me.) One further comment: most bra designers/makers assume we are all as "out front" as we are "around" -- so nice to find a bra that fits around but doesn't have bowling ball size cups! I ordered 40A since this size is hard to find. 38B is a bit tight. I was surprised that 40A feels much the same. I had thought it would be a bit looser around the middle, but it's really tight and uncomfortable, disappointing. Carole from West Roxbury,MA

I bought this for my teen daughter who is 5'9" and has very broad shoulders, but is flat chested. It is impossible to find bras to fit in regular stores since she needs a 40AA. We tried the 40A first, because it was $20 cheaper, and thought it might work but honestly, the cups on the 40A were way too big. The construction was good and the band and straps were sturdy and comfortable, but we didn't feel the cup size was accurate at all because when she tries on a 38A from the girls department, the cup size is fine, but not big enough around.

Amoena Response: Bras in the girls department are made more shallow because they are fitting undeveloped or newly developing breast tissue, which is a very shallow cup. It is a much different fit than bras designed for women. We would recommend any shallow fitting bra for you if you are shopping in the women’s department. Also, any bra with an Asian fit would most likely work for you. The 2167 is an average to full bra so that is why the cups seem so big on you. This item was purchased for my 89 year old mother. It does not seem to be a true 40. Even with extenders it was not big enough, but when purchasing a 38B in the stores, they fit except for the cup size being too large. That is why I went on line to accommodate the cup size.

Straps and band dig in - very comfortable at first, but by the end of the day the shoulder straps painful, deep grooves in my shoulders; band rolls up after a couple of hours. Cup size runs small, order one size up. Odd opening on the inside of the bra - may have been intended for optional wire insert.
