I have dealt with you for some time and always liked my purchases...always nightgowns. This time the quality is very poor---the nylon is so thin, it is practically transparent! Not the quality i have come to expect from you!!! I've had a cold and been unable to mail it for return but am unhappy with this item!!!

Amanda Rich Response: The fabric that we are using for our tricot gowns is the exact same gown that we have been selling for the last 5 years. Yes, the fabric is thin, but is designed that way and cut full across the bust and in the body to gently fall and drape on the bias. Our customers love the way that the fabric does not get wrapped tightly around them while sleeping. I would recommend that you select a deeper color than the pastels, if you feel like it is too thin.

There are only a couple of fabric mills that produce the nylon fabric that was so popular over 30 years ago. Technology has changed the yarns and the market demand has shifted back and forth, so we don't have a lot of control over the size of the yarns. 98% of the customers are satisfied with the fabric, but the ones that have worn these gowns for many years may remember a slightly heavier fabric. First of all, I want to comment on the speed of your delivery. What a surprise to receive the gown so quickly. Previous reviews on the product helped me pick the smaller size. The gown is very full. The site color which looks like a pale pink is acturally darker and brighter, something I didn't want. It is not as sheer as one reviewer stated. That I was happy to discover. It almost prevented me from purchasing it. However I have to stronger agree with the reviewer when stated she expected a higher quality because of the cost of the gown. I feel the same way. The lace around the arms looks like the cheapest you could buy at a discount fabic store. Even spending a few more dollars on something like that would give it a richer look. beautiful quality, nice soft non-scratchy lace. HOWEVER, the size 2-4 was equivalent to 6-8. It is too long and too voluminous for the small person I bought it for. karen from MD

Now I haven't tried it on as it's a gift from my husband, but it's beautifully made. It's completely finished and it's never going to fall apart. I ordered the black and I was a little disappointed that the lace is black - not cream like in the photo above on the pink one. But it's very nice. I'm very particular about nightgowns. I've even made my own occasionally and this one is exceptional down to the last detail. $81 is a lot of money, but you get what you pay for. It's worth it. (: )) Gwen from Alabama USA
