Amanda Rich Response: The fabric that we are using for our tricot gowns is the exact same gown that we have been selling for the last 5 years. Yes, the fabric is thin, but is designed that way and cut full across the bust and in the body to gently fall and drape on the bias. Our customers love the way that the fabric does not get wrapped tightly around them while sleeping. I would recommend that you select a deeper color than the pastels, if you feel like it is too thin.
There are only a couple of fabric mills that produce the nylon fabric that was so popular over 30 years ago. Technology has changed the yarns and the market demand has shifted back and forth, so we don't have a lot of control over the size of the yarns. 98% of the customers are satisfied with the fabric, but the ones that have worn these gowns for many years may remember a slightly heavier fabric.
