Sizing runs small and being petite, the underwire cuts into me in underarms.

I really, really wanted to liked this bra. It's so gorgeous in person, and so sexy on. My only problem was with the straps. They were just too long for my short frame, and after pinning them to make them shorter, the cups were pulled too high and the edges of the cups showed through my shirt. This really is a lovely bra, but not if you're under 5'4" or so. Paige from Socorro, NM

I was disappointed by this bra. After reading the reviews, I ordered the 32F, even though I am usually a 32DDD (E). It fit fine, but the support was not very good, and it really didn't create much cleavage. I've purchased balconette bras before, so I knew what to expect, and this wasn't it.

Vendor Response: #9001A is a balconnette bra and is meant to show a lot of cleavage. You may be more comfortable in a full coverage bra. You might try style #9005B - Innocent Lily bra. It is padded and has a plunge, but has more coverage than the 9001A does. L

This bra is gorgeous with a capital G! Perfect fit, lovely lift & support... in this bra, the "girls" aren't going anywhere I don't want them to go. This is a beautiful bra it gives a nice push up look. its hard to find bras like that in my size. The down side is that it does not give a full look so unless you are wearing a low cut shit you will look smaller. I had to have this bra the second I saw it! It did not disappoint at all. The band is the perfect fit, and there's enough support on it that I'm not worried about falling out of it at all. I have this bra in black and I really like it. It is true to model depiction. I like a tighter band so went up a cup size and down a band size in the burgundy, but that didn't work for me.This is a sexy and comfortable bra and gives me a great look and silhouette under form fitting knits. First off I wear a DDD but I thought to order a bigger size because I noticed that the prettier bras tend to run smaller. I put this bra on and it looked 3 sizes too small. My sister who wears a D fit into this bra comfortably and that is who kept it. The color was also off, it was that red color but it looked faded. I would not recommend this bra to anyone with an ample chest.

I purchased a 34C and it fit perfectly, it is my favorite bra. So, I purchased the 34C again. This time the band was way too tight. So, I had to exchange it for a 36C. When I got the 36C the band fit but the cups fit higher up on the bust. With this brand, there is no consistency with sizing. The bras may be labled the same size and item number, but they are not the same. Each bra is different.

Alegro Response: 9001A is a molded balconnette bra, and will fit different than most of Alegro's other bras, which are soft cups. You need to stay with the Alegro bras that are not molded. Michelle from Idaho

According to manufacturers' charts, I should wear size 32DD bras, but I have learned from experience to purchase size 32DDD(E). After reading reviews of this bra by other customers, I decided to order two bras - 32E and 32F. Glad I did it, because 32F is better cup size fit. Nevertheless, the band size appears to be a bit larger, because there is a gap in the front. Another minor issue is where the straps tend to rest on the shoulders -- as if they were meant for broader shoulders, which is not the case for women with band size 32. It creates a little "sagging" of the cup material under the arm. I wished there was size 30G, which might have been best fit, but in 32F the bra is still nice. Kay from Katy, TX

This is a lovely bra and seems well constructed, but I could not find a good fit after trying two sizes so had to return both and I am disappointed. The side laces are pretty, but will definitely show under most shirts. I was willing to work with that for the overall look. I am not sure what the deal is with the sizing maybe someone can figure it out and post info to help folks when ordering. If I could try different sizes in a store and find the right fit I would buy it, but having to do multiple returns/exchanges via mail with all the shipping costs & time delays is a problem.
