This bustier was pretty and comfortable, but was a little too long in the torso for my petite, short-waisted frame. Moreover, it didn't offer as much support for my large bust as I was hoping. I also didn't like where the low back hit on my back. I returned it since it didn't work for me.

Vabien Response: Petites will do better with a long line strapless bra such as Vabien 506. The back cannot be too low or the front will flip forward with larger bust sizes (for bustiers). Strapless bras are wrapped around high, so a good strapless with enough support in the cups such as Vabien 1506 can run very high in size. It works great! I ordered this true to my size (36DD) with plans to wear it under my wedding dress. The bodice fit wonderfully and the lace is very pretty. Also, it held the girls in and my first thought was, "Yes, I can get crazy on the dance floor!" But as I continued to look at it, I realized that with the stitching on the cups, my breasts looked very pointy and pointed out towards my arms versus in like a cleavage normally would do. There's so much I like about this bustier but I can't live with a pointy silhouette...I have to send it back.

I think the item was beautiful but I needed to return it because it was too small. I wear a 36D and it was 4 inches too small. I actually measured it and it was 32 inches. I called and got one of the managers to measure another one (since I thought it might have been tagged wrong) and sure enough it measured at 32 inches. I highly suggest that Her Room adds that somewhere on their website to avoid this situation again. They told me I should go up 2 sizes so I had to order a 40C.

HerRoom Response: As and FYI, measuring a garment does not tell you if it is running small or large. The stretch of a garment is factored in. So, the fact that it measured 32" could mean the garment was to be stretched 4".

Regarding the fit, we often suggest – especially to ladies with a pear shape – to size up in the band and down in the cup from their typical bra size. With this body type the measurement may apply around the upper-middle back, where a traditional bra sits, but not necessarily further down on the torso. Absolutely beautiful. I bought this low back bustier to wear under my wedding dress in October. I bought my normal band and cup size. Band size fits, but the cups are probably too big, as I had lost weight and my chest is always the first to go. The cup size probably also plays a part in the fact that I don't have much support when it comes to holding the girls up. Nonetheless, this is a great bra overall! I needed a strapless option for a wedding gown that was cut slightly low in the back. This garment has a good fit and gives a nice shape. I'm a little on the short-waisted side and after trying nearly all options I decided this was the best one for my figure. I ordered my normal bra size and the fit was perfect. The only negative is that the front boning buckles outward slightly when you bend or sit, that may be because I'm short-waisted, although I returned another option that was designed for petites and had the same problem, along with back bulge.
