I got these to wear for my wedding, and I expected them to be a bit uncomfortable, but I've worn them around a bit to get used to them, and I can hardly tell that I'm wearing them! These run WAY smaller in size compared to stockings, you should get a size over what you actually wear.

These didn't work for me. I'm not a big person, 5'2", 114#, fit and toned, but I have a 55 year old's skin texture. Being short-waisted, there was an unattractive bulge above the waistline where the panty ended, it rolled over, plus you could see the line at the bottom on the panty and a slight bulge under my loose drapey lounging pants. They are not an attractive garment and are very warm. For my figure improvement needs, waist slimmers work much better, do away with muffin tops, slim the waist and don't leave any bulges. Absolutely the best. Pants look so much better and there's no risk of panty line no matter how snug the fit or how sheer the fabric. Bravo! I had no problems with the waist, and I like that it sits slightly below the belly button so nothing shows above contemporary-styled slacks.
