I wish they made this in a "petite" length. I had to return this slip because it was way longer than other 16-inch slips I've had! So, it was going to show with skirts that hit above my knee, even if they were not very short skirts. This was especially true if I smoothed it all the way down. (If I didn't do that, the fabric rode up and bunched a bit.) I think the size small would work best for a slender person of medium height (not a petite), so that it would still be short enough for above-the-knee styles. Also, since I returned the slip after trying it on, I can't say if skirts would stick to it ... but the fabric is not "silky," so I'd be a bit concerned that certain fabrics might stick or ride up with this slip. The only thing I would do different on this garment is make the tummy control a little greater and add additional back support. I am sure that is only necessary for those of us who have aged badly. I liked the fact the slip smoothed 'things out' so that my knit dress fit well and there were no lumps or lines. Perhaps I should have ordered a small. The only complaint is that sometimes the slip rode up.
