Comfortable once it stretches a bit. I already have the Sassybax bralette, and in the back it is very smooth under shirts (I have a smaller chest, so in a tighter shirt the stretchy part between the breasts shows). I bought this one because of the racerback style. After a few wearings I will probably like it as much, but right now it is tight just below the shoulder blades. These bras come up very high under the arm, which does smooth the back so that back flab is not pronounced. It will show with sleeveless tops if they have larger armholes. I would prefer that the front not be as high - it shows with some scoop necked shirts.
