The weight of the fabric is quite substantial. I have a large bottom, so I got the 1X. They fit, but when I sit, I'm told my underwear show through. They look better on me than I expected, so I'll just wear dark underwear! And, maybe a longer shirt. They are also warm. I was saving to buy this item because it is expensive. When it finally arrived and I used it, I was surprised because it had bad quality, it has lint all around, and it feels wide, no slim effect at all. Im Very dissapointed, I wasted my money. I have really chubby upper thighs, and these smoothed them out perfectly! I was a bit skeptical as to how they would work, but they turned out to be awesome! They made my booty look totally awesome as well! Also, I'm 5'10", and these were plenty long. I thought I would only be able to wear these with boots when I ordered them, but it turns out that I could wear them with regular shoes and not look silly at all.
