This is so retro awesome! I bought it for a photo shoot and it really stole the show. Please, though, READ THE SIZE CHART before ordering. Then, order about 2 sizes smaller than you think you need, going by your measurements. For example, my measurements of 45/48/53 put me above the 8x, the largest size available. However, the 8x totally gaped on me. The 6x was perfect. The measurements that are most important for this item are your empire waist/underboob measurement and your hip measurement. Also, if you are tall (or have a big derrierre like me), the garter straps in the back are not long enough to stretch over my butt when I'm sitting, they are very uncomfortable. The front ones fit great though. And the garters are removable. I would recommend this for a vintage lingerie look. I got this item (in XS) to use with my seamed stockings (I love the 1940's-50's style clothing). It goes great under everything. It was a bit snug at first, but after having it on for 5 minutes it felt great. My waist was 25 3/4 inches before, and it was 24 inches after getting the cincher on. It gave me the hour glass figure I wanted. I am thin, but I have also had a child and still have just a bit of a pooch. This cincher makes it totally flat. I also have a bad habit of slouching due to back problems. I noticed that I sit and stand a lot straighter with this on. Oh and before I forget, Thanks Herroom. Super fast shipping. This garment was perfect under my silk wedding dress. It tucked me in, no visible lines showed and was comfortable all night long. I wore it from 3pm to midnight. The sizing felt true and took 1.5 inches off my waist. I will definitely order again in another color as I love to wear 50's style clothing and "foundation" undergarments are absolutely essential. I bought this to see if it would help my figure when wearing skirts and let me tell you it fit perfect. My husband surely notice the change and even liked the idea that it had garters. Don't believe the size chart that HerRoom provides, it is incorrect! Evidently HerRoom doesn't know enough about what they are doing to provide a proper size chart.

I really like this waist cincher, it's very well constructed. I am a dress size 14, and I got the large based on measurements. It was a little tight, but I had to wear it that evening. I managed to get it on and I looked fantastic in it. If I had the time, I would have returned it for an XL, but the L does the job for me.
