A true balconnet bra and oh so lovely! Based on my other Panache (Venus) balconnet bra and the above photograph, I was a bit worried that this bra would be more full coverage than balconnet. However, it is a true balconnet, verging on a demi cup and is perfect for those of us who are flatter on top! The low cut gives beautiful cleavage, but not as extreme as a push-up style would. I only have 2 complaints: 1) the embroidery detail on the straps cuts down on this bra's "adjustability" and 2) the band seem to run larger than my other Panache 30D. I immediately had to use the second set of hooks, but since so few bras come in a 28DD, I'm happy to have this one even if its shelf life may be limited due to stretching issues. It's absolutely beautiful and the straps are nice and wide, the back is comfy. My one complaint is that the underwires come up too high under my arms - at least for me. It feels like I'm constantly being poked under the arm.
