Maidenform Breakthrough Backless Underwire Bra 7445
Maidenform's Breakthrough Backless Bra.
This unique bra can be worn under a variety of backless and low back fashions.
The Breakthrough Backless demi bra is expertly crafted with silicone on the wire channeling to prevent slippage.
The seamless molded foam cups are lightly padded to provide a natural shape on the body and are smooth under clothes.
Horizontal side boning for additional support.
Please note: Maidenform told us the larger cup sizes are fitting better - more breast tissue to keep the bra in place. Not available in A cup sizes.
Tomima's Tip "Note that the straps come very high under the arms. Also, a "Fitting Instructions" tag recommends using garment tape for a more secure fit."
This bra is AMAZING! I can't believe it can hold things up! I suggest though when wearing with dresses or corsets to add a little extra "insurance" by putting garment tape on it though!

Sending back - didn't stay, didn't fit. Couldn't jump up and down like the designer did on tv. They recommend using tape to help it, but what's the point of a bra if you have to tape it on. I was really looking forward to this one working.

The backless Bra was different. I did not like the way it fit. I would have had to tape, glue or something. Not comfortable. I have sent the Bra back. Thanks anyway

I have ordered stuff from you before and i haven't had any regrets so far. Your products are amazing and also they arrive on time. Sometimes its almost as if I ordered them to be shipped via express.
I'm very happy with the backless bra so much so that Ive had my boss and my sister buy one from you. thanks for your amazing products. Josephine

I have numerous scars on my back from skin cancer and therefore have trouble wearing a bra. The backless bra has been a great garment for me as it has no strap to irritate my scars. It is extremely comfortable and easy to wear. It was a truly great creation. THANKS!!!!

This is a new type of bra for me. I believe that the backless bra will work - it just feels a great deal different. I will get used to it though.

GENIUS!!!
I have such a hard time finding bras that fit anyway, so I was skeptical that this one would work for a large bust, but it's wonderful. I love it!

Bra worked well once adjusted under clothing. Tape is definitely required for D cup; However, I completely agree with Stacey from NY regarding the placement of tags. I personally had to order a second bra in smaller size, due to difficulty trying on original order of 38DD, which turned out to be too large and now cannot be returned because i removed tags to adjust shoulder strap. I now have a bra that i cannot use because to large.

It may work better for a smaller bust. If I'm careful not to move too quickly, it will stay in place for the most part. It works well with the top I purchased it to wear with, but the straps are very high in the underarm area (but in all fairness, that detail was in the description). Maybe I should use tape to hold it in place more securely.
Note: It was backordered, which I took into account, but it was not in stock/shipped within the timframe stated, so unfortunately I did not receive until I had returned from my vacation

This is a good idea but I am not completely sure that they have the concept down. I am normally a 32D so, since this bra isn't offered in that size, I purchase the sister size. The way the straps were at first were too loose and once I tighted the straps, the cups kept riding up. I had to hold onto the front of the bra until I put on one of the dresses for which this purchase was made. In the mirror, I could see the cups lifting slightly, which means any real activity would have had me spilling out the bottom. I have not tried this bra with fashion tape but I wanted to be able to wear it without since I have extremely sensitive skin and have broken out with tapes used on my skin. At any rate, I am not sure what to do. Keep the bra? Go down a cup size? Up a cup size? Or readjust the straps. Any suggestions? If not, I hope this review helps someone else out there.
HerRoom Response: With this bra, you really need to get your proper size. Because you went up a band size, it will be too big and creep up. Sorry, but Maidenform does not make this item in your size.

Great concept, however, for someone in the D cup range, this bra will need tape to hold it firmly in place along with your garment you will be wearing.
