The straps are slightly itchy at first but I've found over time they become softer. I used to wear this bra in a different size and then re-brought it upon discovering my actual size; it seems to become more comfortable the longer I have it. This bra is so beautiful and amazingly comfortable. It is not often that I find both beauty and comfort in my size - normally I make the sacrifice for just comfort. This bra is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It gives a lot of coverage and moderate support. For a bra without padding, the support is phenomenal though. Love it. Everything is covered and I can run, bounce, jump, etc. Without anything falling out. And it's pretty and doesn't make me feel like an old lady. Very comfortable, even with the lace. Both the straps and the band fit well without being too tight, even at the smallest settings. At first I didn't realize this bra was unpadded, but now that I'm used to it I think that it makes it more comfortable. Keep in mind that the lace does run quite high so this bra is not really suitable for spaghetti straps or deep v-neck tops (at least on me). I returned this bra. I did not like the fit at all for my breasts. The center is very high, and the cups are high, too, I guess for full coverage. I prefer plunge bras, and the way the cups separated with that very high center made them look almost like an old-fashioned bullet bra from the 1950s. I didn't realize they also make a demi when I returned it, otherwise I would have exchanged it for that one. But I love the slightly sheer fabric which makes the print look a bit water-colory -- and the boy shorts are great! the little rhinestone... great touch!
