This is a great bustier to wear under a strapless dress. My dress is slightly gathered in the front, so that the boning isn't visible. I found this bustier creates a nice smooth line down the sides, and offers great support with a natural shape. This was important to me. I've taken away one star because the front boning can tend to "jab" a little when I sit down... I don't think this is because of my height (I'm 5 ft 7) since I'm in the normal range. Ordered two bras in this style. Needed support for a strapless bridesmaid gown without having to tug all day! This one was way more snug in the bodice and the stays bulged at the stomach when i sat down. Pretty, but sent it back. P.S. Can't have a pear shape to wear this style! I really loved this bustier, particularly that the back is scooped lower than most. I wear a 36DD, and that's what I ordered after reading many of the reviews. Many said they ordered their size, and it fit well. Others needed either smaller or larger sizes. I am in my late fifties, and while pretty fit, my back isn't as firm as it was a few (or more) years ago. So even though the bustier fit, there was some spill over in the back. Not an attractive look I'm sure we can all agree. I returned the bustier, and am reordering in a 38DD and a 40D to see what those fits are like. My advice would be if your bra doesn't give you a totally smooth look in the back, order a larger size. Other than that, this is a great bustier, well made, and the length fit me particularly well. While it gives very nice cleavage and breast uplift/support... the boning on the tummy bulges out very quickly and is very unattractive. I am very thin so it's very noticeable. The corset does not give a lot of lift, but I had expected that from the other reviews. The real problem is that when you sit down the bottom of the bustier bulges out and makes it look like you have a gut. Not very flattering.
