Alice Soft Cup Bra Customer Reviews

I was reluctant to try the Alice because I thought that the material and boning would make it stiff and uncomfortable. I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived and the fit was perfect, (more so than I have found in years) and the fabric was light and comfortable. The fabric is embroidered, so I don't think I will wear it under sheers and tshirts. I should note that, on the advice of HerRoom I ordered the 36J instead of my usual 38H and that made such an improvement in fit. elaine, colorado, Age: 50's February, 2012, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 36J

I am very pleased with my purchasing experience with HerRoom. The shipping took a little less than a week, which was shorter than I had expected. I tried the bra on and it was a nearly perfect fit. I have slight spillage over the side under my arms, but not enough to be annoying. The material doesn't irritate my skin, which is a plus because that was a concern for me. It's very comfortable, especially the straps. Most of the bras I purchase end up digging trenches in my shoulder blades because my bust is so heavy (as you can tell from my cup size). And the best part, NO UNDERWIRE!! I have excellent support in spite of that and that was my main concern. I like this bra a lot and am going to order in another color. I just received the Goddess 6040 Alice in the mail. It's wonderful - a comfortable fit right out of the package. This is after many many trials trying to order the right bra. It has good support, straps don't hurt my shoulders, the cups contain me even on the sides. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the embroidered fabric - why would they make a bra with lumpy fabric that might show through? I will wear this bra with any garments that I can and will have to find a smooth bra for tee shirts, etc. All in all, I'm very happy. , Colorado, Age: 50's January, 2012, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 36J

I had bought this model of bra when I weighed more and liked it. So I bought one in a smaller size after loosing weight. This one seems slightly pointy (not horrible), but I like the support and comfort of it. Toni, Grandville, MI, Age: 40's December, 2011, Petite (5'3" and under) Size: 36DD

Worst bra I've ever worn. I measured to ensure buying the correct size yet the stays were digging into my sides within 2 hours of putting it on. Also extremely dislike having cone shaped breasts and extreme lack of support. I've had great Goddess bras in the past but this one was a complete waste of money. Terrible.

Goddess Response: Jamie it’s difficult to say, as you don’t mention which Goddess bras you’ve worn in the past. Very often it’s the size and not the style that’s not working. Goddess 6040 is one of our most supportive bras, which leads me to believe you might just have ordered it in an incorrect size: It could be the cups are actually too small. I don't like this bra. It rides up in the back. Also the seams show across the breast area. I like a smooth look. Very disappointing.

Goddess Response: We love a bra with seams because seams support, shape, and define the breasts. If however like many women you prefer a smooth look, try Goddess 6011, a totally seam-free bra which will give you a gorgeous natural shape under clothing. If your band is riding up in the back, it’s a sure sign that the band is simply too big, and when the band is too big the breasts aren’t being properly supported. It’s the body of the bra which should offer most of the support, not the straps.
