Tomima's Tip"This is the perfect T-shirt bra for full-figured women - low center, seamless, molded two-ply cups for modesty and triple layered padded straps. There is nothing else like this in this size range (up to H cup)." This Goddess Smooth Simplicity Bra is part of the Goddess Smooth Simplicity collection. Goddess Response: We have to allow for ‘play’ in the underwire of approximately ¾” – 1” so that is why the wire does not fill the entire wire casing. If we do not allow “play’” the wires will come out. I would suggest 2 things; try Elomi 3911 as it has a different wire that may be more comfortable. If Goddess 3910 is “the bra” for for you, you can add extra plush at the top of the cup. Felt found at a local sewing store can be sewn at the top of the wires to give a more comfortable fit for customers who are wire sensitive. march, Wisconsin, Age: 40's January, 2010, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 42G or H
HerRoom Response: We are sorry you are so unhappy with this bra. If your breasts are falling out from the bottom, this is usually a very clear sign that your band size is WAY too big. We recommend starting with a 48DD and see if that is not a better fit. We would also suggest you look at our bra fitting symptom/solution page for additional sizing suggestions. Goddess Response: …I’m not sure what to say here – a 50D is a difficult size to find; I agree 3910 is not the solution; you may want to try Goddess #304 – it’s a soft cup that comes in the 50D. - Betty from Goddess I totally agree with Betty, but I’d also mention that very often it’s not so much the bra that’s problematic, as it is that the customer is simply not in the correct size. We all know that usually going down in the band and up in the cup makes the bra much more supportive. Also, if she went down to a 48- and up in the cup, that would give her many more bra options to choose from. - Freddy from Goddess Felice, East Orange, New Jersey, US, Age: teen October, 2009, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 50D
Anyway, once I tried the garment on, I was nervous because my breasts looked like torpedoes; but after pulling on a shirt, they looked shapely and there was no uniboob. [I found the peek-a-boo opening to be absurd, but whatever!] This bra did not dig in to my shoulders. The cup size was not too big or small, and the band was just about right - although my back is pudgy, this bra did not highlight the lumps and bumps, like other bras do, because they are too small. The support was great; for the first time, I understood what other women meant when they felt that their breasts were "resting on clouds" - I was initially worried when I there was nothing squashing my chest down! However, despite all my praises, I have to give this bra 3 stars. Not because I hated it, but because of the nipple show-through. This is NOT a t-shirt bra, regardless that it is seam-free, molded, and has thick material used for the cups. While the cups are definitely "full-coverage" in terms of size, they offered NO modesty whatsoever. This is a concern for me because, as I said, the bra gives pretty good support, the "girls" are sitting up high and proud, and there is your nipple, staring you in the face!
Comment from Goddess As you can tell from the reviews on this bra customers either really like it or they don't like it at all. This is an unusual bra in that it has a bit of a minimizing effect due to the heavy, no-show through fabric in the cups. The coverage is very full so not all body types can comfortably wear this bra. For those customers who it fits they wear nothing but this bra. For others that are looking for a great seamless, more forgiving, but still VERY supportive bra, I suggest elomi style 3911 or 1220.
