The clear straps were worth it......and they were not cheaply made for the low price that I paid.

They are a bit uncomfortable but the real issue is that they are too shiny. The plastic/rubber is sticky and gets stuck and bunches into a roll if you're not diligent while you are loosening or tightening them. This item would probably be a lot more comfortable and more supportive it it was thicker (instead of a quarter inch, maybe a half inch or 3/4 wide and if it had a less polished surface. Not sure though. It's cheap enough so give them a try. :)

The straps stick to your skin and feel uncomfortable. Transparent yes, but they are so shiny they are very noticeable. They were also too short for the strapless convertible bra I wanted to wear them with.

These straps were long enough for me and I have a long torso. They are nice for shirts which my straps peek out a little. I wouldn't wear them with a strapless top-they're not invisible b/c they are so shiny. The straps stay put better on my shoulders than regular straps, however they get a little uncomfortable by the end of the day b/c they stick to your skin.
