This was the only full length, strapless slip on the market that I could find to go under my wedding dress. It did a wonderful job of smoothing out panty lines and making sure nothing could be seen through the light, obviously white, material. The only downside - it's a little hot! I'm only 5'2'' so this garment was on the floor, but the dress I wanted to use it under was also on the floor so it worked out great. I also needed a full length slip to go under my sheath-type wedding dress. I looked EVERYWHERE for a strapless, lower backed slip and finally found this one. I was pretty worried trying to find a slip to go under my wedding dress..I'm getting married Nov. 10, 2007! And I couldn't find a modern-looking smooth slip to go under my dress, which already has a built-in skirt. (Being ample-hipped and curvy, size 8/10... actually closer to 10, the full hoop skirts looked ridiculous and too puffy under my dress.
