Shannon Underwire Bra With Side Support Customer Reviews
This bra is reasonably comfortable, but I don't care for how it shapes me. I look very pointy and have a huge gap between my breasts. I seem to fill the cups yet it gives me a strange shape. I purchased this because it was on sale and if I could return it I would. Since I can't, I will wear it under loose fitting clothing or with a stretchy camisole to reshape me.

It's pretty, provides great support, and it's at a great price.

I absolutely love this bra! It is so supportive and minimizing. The side support is great and does just what it is supposed to. The hands down best thing about this bra are the straps. You can adjust for size on the whole length of the strap! I have narrow shoulders and usually have trouble with bra straps being too long and therefore not as supportive but with this one I made them as short as possible and it was perfect!
The reason it did not get five stars is because I think the band runs big. If they offered this in a 30 band it would be my perfect bra for all time.
I got this bra in black and it's not the sexiest looking bra but it is still pretty and very supportive. I'm definitely buying a couple more.

I love this style - am still wearing the first one I bought 3 years ago - it's still holding up very well - not stretched out at all & still gives great support without weight on the shoulders or riding up in the back.

I bought one of these bras 3 years ago and wear it constantly. It has held up very well, so I was happy to be able to buy 2 more of them here. The way the cups and band are constructed give great support for a heavy bust.

fit so-so, keeps all in place but inadequate lift up & support to buy again - gravity stronger than fabric! also sides of cups land far back under armpits, while they don't dig into armpits extra breast tissue under arms annoying. i want the breasts in front of my body where they belong.
Am keeping this one as i'm really hard to fit and most are worse one way or another.
Fantasie Response:
If you’re looking for a style with a bit more “guts” perhaps try our Karina 2452. Karina offers a three-section cup with a side panel to bring the breast tissue forward. This style has a slightly wider band than 1014 (for more stability) and the straps are centrally positioned for maximum lift and support.
If you’re finding the sides of the cup land too far back under the armpits, you might need a smaller cup.

This bra is an absolute delight: the fit and support are fabulous -- it is the FIRST bra I have worn in which the center actually lays flat against my breastbone. With an E-cup, that's magical in itself! The materials are also comfortable, and the embroidery makes what would otherwise be a utilitarian article into a thing of true beauty. This bra was especially pretty in the deep red, but alas! Fantasie has discontinued this model. I will sincerely miss it, but remain a Fantasie fan.

seemed a bit flimsy and i didn't like the lines thru the t-shirt- i could see the seams- but it was comfortable and held the girls in the right direction- i returned it because of the seam issue.
Fantasie Response:
Personally, I love a seamed bra because seams shape and support the breast tissue, and make it possible for a sexy lacy bra to offer firm support too. But if you prefer a seam-free number, Fantasie has a lot of choices for you.
Fantasie offers several molded T-shirt bras: Fantasie T-Shirt Bra 4510
is our basic style with relatively full coverage. Rhiannin 2222
sports a snazzy Roman-inspired print (which won’t show under T-shirts) and the center front is 10 mm lower than #4510. Ava 2132 is the most glamorous bra, with guipure lace trim, and a plunging neckline.
We also offer smoothing bras without a foam mold: #4500 is a very full-coverage bra, and #4520 is a balcony shape.
I’m sure you’ll find the perfect style for you and your lifestyle!

This is a beautifully constructed bra that really does give incredible side support. It is true to size, fits well and is comfortable. I look forward to the day they can make this bra without seams, so I can wear it with t-shirts.

I'd never tried a bra with side support before and this seemed like a good compromise between a true full cup and a balcony bra. I'm not sure if it was the side shaping or the fuller cut of this bra that made me say "no thanks," but it hit a little too close to my armpit causing compression of some fat right about at the level at which the lace ends, despite the fact that the strap wasn't tight at all. While I felt like the support was unmatched, when put on the Kara (2091) immediately after I realized how stiff and unmoving this bra felt (and not in a good way). I guess I don't need side shaping, just lift.
I think the bra (at least in nude) looks much nicer in the pictures than in person. The detail in the lace got kind of lost, but maybe it wouldn't be the case in black.
Fantasie Response: Sounds like it’s not so much the ‘side support’ but the fuller frame of this bra that is just not compatible with your body type. It seems to be hitting you in all the wrong places. This is why we make all sorts of shapes in different fabrications so we have something for everyone.

This is a great bra that actually does what it says - supports the sides of the breast so you don't have that underarm roll without needing a bulletproof bra. Very comfortable, I can wear it through a 12+ hour shift w/o having to shift it or come home with strap marks. Two issues: 1) The seams are VERY visible through most clothes. I can wear this with scrubs, but not with a t-shirt or silk. Inside the bra, the seams are not quite "finished" flat, so you know if you don't have everything where it should be - lol. 2) The back could be a bit wider, maybe three hooks instead of two, particularly for the "larger" sizes, for a bit added support. Otherwise, it is a great everyday bra if you can get by the seams. Also, loved that my order came shipped all wrapped with tissue paper, like I had gone to a fancy department store - your service is fabulous. Loyal customer from here on out.

The band was too small for me. I am usually - nearly always a 32gg in Fantasie. But not on this one. Couldnt even get it to close at all.
