I'd never tried a bra with side support before and this seemed like a good compromise between a true full cup and a balcony bra. I'm not sure if it was the side shaping or the fuller cut of this bra that made me say "no thanks," but it hit a little too close to my armpit causing compression of some fat right about at the level at which the lace ends, despite the fact that the strap wasn't tight at all. While I felt like the support was unmatched, when put on the Kara (2091) immediately after I realized how stiff and unmoving this bra felt (and not in a good way). I guess I don't need side shaping, just lift.
I think the bra (at least in nude) looks much nicer in the pictures than in person. The detail in the lace got kind of lost, but maybe it wouldn't be the case in black.
Fantasie Response: Sounds like it’s not so much the ‘side support’ but the fuller frame of this bra that is just not compatible with your body type. It seems to be hitting you in all the wrong places. This is why we make all sorts of shapes in different fabrications so we have something for everyone.

This is a great bra that actually does what it says - supports the sides of the breast so you don't have that underarm roll without needing a bulletproof bra. Very comfortable, I can wear it through a 12+ hour shift w/o having to shift it or come home with strap marks. Two issues: 1) The seams are VERY visible through most clothes. I can wear this with scrubs, but not with a t-shirt or silk. Inside the bra, the seams are not quite "finished" flat, so you know if you don't have everything where it should be - lol. 2) The back could be a bit wider, maybe three hooks instead of two, particularly for the "larger" sizes, for a bit added support. Otherwise, it is a great everyday bra if you can get by the seams. Also, loved that my order came shipped all wrapped with tissue paper, like I had gone to a fancy department store - your service is fabulous. Loyal customer from here on out.

The band was too small for me. I am usually - nearly always a 32gg in Fantasie. But not on this one. Couldnt even get it to close at all.

Great fit and very comfortable. Even though the band in the back is thinner than I am use to it still gives me great support.
I always thought a wide band=support, but not true here.

This bra is fabulous! It fits exactly like the old 1010 with updated design. Keeps the sides in. Very flattering.

Bra provides great support, but it is still very comfortable. I would actually give it 4 1/2 stars. It is a bit looser in the back than some, but for me this works.

This bra fit like a dream. I'm always on the lookout for a good fitting bra that is pretty, and this one is gorgeous, and very flattering. It supports without making me look larger breasted than I am. Love it!

If you are a true size 30, you will be disappointed. The tightest hook still is not tight enough to fit properly and will ride up in the back. Seems a good 2 inches too large
Lovely looking bra though. I will be returning this bra.
