This slip is the perfect match for my needs - I wanted a short slip to wear under light knit dresses. The weight is light enough that it feels like "next to nothing" while still being substantial enough to provide good coverage. The unfinished edges can't be seen under the knits I've worn it with (even jersey). The weights in the bottom are brilliant - they're stitched into a channel along the edge of the side seams, so if you're tempted to shorten the slip, it can be done - just add a few stitches to the channel to close it up.
This may be the best slip I've ever purchased for daily wear...I'm totally happy with it.

Great slip.

The weights are brilliant and I like that the fabric edge at the top are flat and disappear under clothes. It did bunch a little around the legs under a close fitting dress but overall I really like the slip.

This is the best slip I have ever owned.... It is very comfortable and invisible under your clothes...

The slip fits great and is very comfortable. I bought it to wear under a wraparound dress and it worked perfectly.

I am 5"6 and a size 2 and very slender with full bust and it runs small. I exchanged for size medium/large so not so snug but perfect. Very nice. Bit pricey but best so far

I have been looking for a slip that doesn't show under clothes. The spaghetti straps and A-line style are perfect! I am considering cutting it a bit shorter though. Great purchase and service from HerRoom.

The slip has a great thickness and "hang" to it and will be perfect under knit dresses. However, it would have been nice if the weights sewn in the seam were at 1" increments. Cutting the length off is going to mean re-sewing some of the weights back into place. (It is about 2-3" too long for knee length dresses, and the mini version I also tried was w-a-y too short -- a length in between would be nice)

Love the fabric! Clings well to the body, without all the bunching up. Very light and airy.

Quite a disappointment. The material did not have a smooth touch to it and the fit was not good. Was really hoping it would be great and willing to spend the money, but it did not meet the expectation.

Alisha's not crazy. Mine has weights in the side seams too -- quite ingenious but I had the same reaction -- it's too long but I am reluctant to shorten it. Of the three full slips I bought from this site, this one is by far the nicest.
HerRoom Response: You are correct. Alisha brought this feature to our attention, and we have thus adjusted the description of the product.
