Chantelle C Chic Sexy Spacer Foam T-Shirt Bra 3585


This lightweight underwire bra features all-over "C" interlocking logo in a low-profile jacquard fabric. Seamless cups are made with spacer foam, which is breathable and provides modesty like a contour cup. Straps remove in back for convertible wear, from regular to criss-cross back straps.
  • Contour, underwire cups shape with light spacer foam padding for breathability and modesty.
  • New, firmer spacer foam cup gives more support.
  • Seamless, flexible contour cups enable modesty.
  • Cups are sewn into a band in all sizes.
  • Elastic along edges of powernet sides and back for custom fit.
  • Seamed sides are covered with satin strips.
  • Pleated front elastic straps attach to elastic logo straps which adjust in the back with coated metal hardware. Strap is removable in back with coated metal hook-and-slide hardware.
  • Leotard back.
  • 2-hook, 3-column coated hook-and-eye closure in back.

  • Contour, underwire cups have side slings in selected sizes (see note above) and are free of lining and support panels.
  • 1/16" thick cups.
  • Center front is 2-1/2" tall.
  • Seamed sides are 3-1/2" tall.
  • Elastic straps are 5/8" wide and attach to 5/8" wide logo elastic that adjusts in the back with coated metal hardware. Straps are removable in back with coated metal hook-and-slide hardware.

I might have already reviewed this bra when I first purchased it. I have loved Chantelle bras for decades but I really don't like the recent change to 2 rows of hooks from the 3 or 4 rows they used to offer on larger sizes. Although I'm careful to choose a bra with sides that are at least 3", I find the support from 2 hooks in the back wonderfully inadequate. While I hate walking away from Chantelle after 45 years, I'd love to be redirected to a brand or brands that realized women my size need more support than Chantelle's new lines offer us.

Chantelle Response: Chantelle offers different styles to accommodate different body types and different coverage levels. Some women do not want more hooks and eyes while others do not. The C Chic 3585 you bought is one of the styles that offers fewer hooks and eyes on the back but is wider under the arm. We suggest that you try the Chantelle C Magnifique Molded Minimizer Underwire Bra 1891 or Chantelle Sexy Shaping Full Coverage T-Shirt Bra 3781 these 2 styles offer wider bands (backs) and more hook and eyes on the back. I ordered two of these in nude and black after spending much time measuring myself per Herroom's measuring/sizing guide. They arrived in a timely manner and I was more than pleased at the packaging as well as the product! The fit is 100% accurate and absolutely what I was looking for! No more ill fitting bras with slipping and spillage! A smooth beautiful natural looking shape with a lot of control and comfort! I forget I'm wearing it....I can't remember the last time I could say that about a bra!
