More coverage than what you might expect from a demi style, at least in size 34F. I'd compare it more to a balcony like the Fantasie Olivia. The fit is fine, though not as nice as other Chantelles I've tried, and not as nice as the Olivia. The deal-breaker for this bra was the lace on top. It is sewn onto the upper edge in a way that makes it floppy -- it does not lie flat on me. I tried the bra on with a few tops and decided to return it. The ribbing on the bottom part of the cup is rather deep and would show through a lot of tops as well. Kitty, New York, Age: 40's September, 2008, Size: 34F

This bra is both beautiful and comfortable. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a little tight on the upper part of my chest, slightly bisecting. Maybe it will stretch out a bit. It is so hard to find a pretty garment that fits at this size. Although I would have liked it to be a little lower cut I certainly can't complain as the usual bra that I wear is completely the opposite........durability comes to mind! I bought it after purchasing the full cup which I love. I was disappointed because the demi lacks the side panel that really helps pull you in. I much prefer the full cup. Unlike many who have reviewed both the full cup Legend and the Demi, I prefer the full cup. I still need the white and will order the full cup. Otherwise, just like the full cup Legend I like the way it encapsulates the breast tissue from under the arms to bring it to the front. These two bras are not minimizers. This is a comfortable, lovely bra. I got it in mauve, which is really a blue gray, and its lovely. This balconette style demi by Chantelle is great cut for me. Its similar to the meli melo in cut, with the addition of a side support that pulls the breast tissue into the cup. It does show texture through light clothing, but I've given up on caring about that, as i just haven't found a t-shirt bra that fits me well. Very pretty.
