Unfortunately, the item was way too large for me, so I really can't give much of an opinion. I usually wear a size 6 underwear, but after reading how important it was to order a size that would fit properly and that if you ordered a size that was too small that would not work, I decided to order the Large. Obviously, I am returning the item; however, I was honestly afraid to reorder because the Large was so big that I don't think one size down would be enough but going to a small didn't seem prudent, so I just decided to forgo the whole idea.

HerRoom Response: Thank you for this feedback. Barely There runs true to size. And a size 6 would translate to a size medium. We think a medium would work for you.

Barely There Response: Sorry to hear you would not give it another try on going down to a different size. The measurements for a medium would be hip 38-39 and waist 27-28. I love the product with one exception - it's too long and the waist band rolls...thus that's uncomfortable. That aside the structure of the garment is great.
