Launched by California designer Claire Pettibone, the Butterflies lingerie line is as pretty and feminine as her bridal collection. The signature distinction of the collection is the array of floral prints which are printed on both the lace and fabric in a continuous design.
The Butterflies collection is more than just pretty. Meant to be all-day wear, the pieces are designed for fit and comfort. The wide lace waistbands sit comfortably with no binding. Most of the panties are designed with v-shaped dips front and back for a little extra sex appeal.
Butterflies styles include four panty styles: bikini, boyshort, low-rise and regular-rise thongs as well as camisoles, babydolls, and chemises. The collections sound like a walk through a garden--Hydrangea and Yellow Roses among them. Most of the collection include matching babydolls or camis that are perfect layering pieces and versatile enough to wear as outer ware. The chemises work both as sleepware and as slips. Additional collections at HerRoom include Harley, Alyssia and Purr.
What every Butterflies style has in common is the innovative printing technique, producing unusually lush floral designs. Says designer Claire Pettibone, "We perfected the fit first, and then created beautiful prints, so it's almost like wearing a little piece of art."
